JOB SUMMARY:

The Regional Commercial Director is responsible for driving the commercial performance and profitability of the assigned region. This includes overseeing sales and marketing strategies, building and maintaining partnerships, managing operations to achieve business objectives, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall strategic goals. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to manage diverse teams and deliver measurable results.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profit targets.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including new markets, services, or partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and healthcare providers.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Oversee the implementation of regional marketing initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and alignment with corporate marketing strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to adapt strategies and improve market positioning.
  • Lead campaigns to promote services, attract customers, and enhance patient experience.

Operations & Performance Management

  • Monitor regional operational performance and ensure efficiency in service delivery.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve commercial operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets and financial targets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies across the region.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance performance and career growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Set and monitor individual and team KPIs, ensuring alignment with regional and organizational goals.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting

  • Act as the primary liaison between the regional teams and corporate leadership.
  • Present regional performance updates, insights, and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including government bodies, private institutions, and community partners, to enhance the organization’s reputation and market presence.

QUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 8 years of experience in a commercial or business leadership role, preferably in the healthcare or service industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving regional business growth
  • Strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
